This quilt by Elaine Duncan, the 2008 Art on Barns Contest is now successfully displayed on the Flinspach barn north of Fairfield

on Hwy 1.

The Iowa Prison Industries replicated the art piece from its 12" x 12"

original to an 8' x 8' version on metal using state-of-the-art sign making

methods. Many kind and willing people contributed time, energy, and

expertise in making this barn art a reality now to be enjoyed by many

others.

The Flinspach barn is the second barn north of Airport Road on the west side as you drive north. You will see a large, metal silo close to the edge of the road. West of the silo is the barn with The Quilt in full view.
